Ploughing Competition Rules

1. Open to and entered by the person who ploughed the field
2. Any size of field can be entered but it must be completed - including endriggs and gussets.
3. Minimum 3 furrow reversible plough to be used and no furrow press allowed.      NO MATCH PLOUGHS ALLOWED.
4. Field entered must be within KDAA Parish areas - see below
5. Entries must include a map of the field and a F.I.D. number.
6. Entries will cost £10 per field entered.
7. Entries will close on 1st February.
8. Judging will take place within 2 weeks of the closing date or as soon as possible thereafter - weather permitting.
9. The judge's decision will be final.
10. The winner will receive a cash prize of £100.

First: The Association shall be called the Kirriemuir District Agricultural Association, and will include the whole of the Parishes of  Kirriemuir, Cortachy, Clova, Kingloldrum, Lintrathen, Airlie, Glamis, Tannadice and Oathlaw, also that portion of the Parish of Kinnettles which lies to the north of  the Forfar and Glamis highway, that portion of the Parish of  Rescobie which lies to the west and north of the Forfar and Brechin highway (Aberlemno Road), and that portion of the Parish of Eassie and Nevay which lies to the east of, and including the farms of Castleton and Hatton of  Eassie, also that portion of the Parish of Ruthven lying east of the River Isla.
