horses front pic 1Kirriemuir Show is one of the major outdoor events in the area and its popularity continues to grow each year. The Show is attended by a wide cross section of the local community and it is a great day out for all the family!

MAIN RING EVENT - JEZ AVERY Motorcycle and Mountain Bike Stunt Show

Jez presents a spectacular show in the arena which will have you on the edge of your seat, as he shows off his control of his motorcycle and mountain bike doing front wheel wheelies and other tricks and stunts showing his amazing balance. He presents the "High Jump", jumping ever higher cheered on by the crowd and over cars using his jumping ramps.

The first show will be the Mountain Bike Stunt Show. The second show of the afternoon will be the Motorcycle Stunt Show

Education Tent

2008 sees the introduction of a themed Education Tent - Sheep and Wool:

We will bring you traditional wool based handcrafts. sheep shearing and of course the sheep themselves.

We also will be introducing you to Alpacas and their fibres and how they can be used in place of wool. Spinning, weaving, needle felting and felt.

There will be a quiz trail for the youngsters linking all the wool related areas of the show with prizes for the best answers.

Directions
Come off the dual carriage way at the Glamis Junction. Go through the village of Glamis onto the A928. The show field is on the right just before the town.
